FAQ:
Is there a fee?
Yes, the fee is $10 to cover the costs of the reception and mounting the show.
Are there prizes?
We will award people's choice awards to one child student and one adult student.
Does everyone's entry get in?
As long as it meets our rules, one piece from each entrant gets in.
Does my entry have to be something I created in class?
Yes, we are asking for work that represents your production under the guidance of our instructors in a class or a workshop.
Can I enter something I've shown at Valley Art Center before?
No, our rule for all our exhibits is that the work has to be new to our gallery. This also means that what you submit to the Student/Faculty Exhibit is no longer eligible to enter in future shows here. This rule applies to all our artists and we hope that means you'll be making lots of art to chose from!
Does my work have to be for sale?
No, you can indicate that the work is NFS (not for sale).
Does my work have to be framed?
Your art must be gallery-ready, including the hanging hardware. Please check with the Gallery Manager if you have any questions about professional presentation.
