How to answer an online call to entry
Before you start, you will need a number of items.
- One to three digital images of art, depending on the call. For gallery shows, these must be good photographs of the actual, original art pieces you want to exhibit. For Art by the Falls and similar vendor shows, you will need several images of art that are representative of the body of work you will be selling.
- The Annual Student/Faculty Art Exhibit is NOT an online call to entry.
- Digital images should conform to the specifications listed in the call to entry. Generally, they should be saved in a standard, optimized JPG (JPEG) file format no smaller than 960 x 960 pixels. They should be no larger than 4 Mb in file size.
- For some calls-to-entry, additional views are accepted; this is useful for documenting three-dimensional work. For other competitions, supplementary images will be required such as booth, context, or detail shots.
- Please make sure you are settled on titles, media descriptions and prices. The way you identify yourself and your work in the submission form is what we start with when we present your information on art labels and in program listings, including your full name and your city, state, and nation.
