The annual Art by the Falls outdoor fine art and fine craft festival is held every summer at Riverside Park in downtown Chagrin Falls. This year's festival was held June 13th and 14th.

Each year, VAC presents a diverse group of talented artists working in a variety of media including ceramics, drawing, painting, glass, jewelry, apparel, metal sculpture, photography, prints, weaving and woodcarving.

These artists bring to Chagrin Falls some of the most creative and most accomplished work locally, regionally and nationally. With the renewed interest in fostering the arts and economic growth spurred by the arts, we encourage you to “buy local” and purchase handcrafted work made by the artists you meet here. An Art By The Falls purchase will provide enjoyment and a tangible connection to this festival and our region for years to come.

Music and Entertainment

Every year, Art by the Falls features some of the best local entertainment.

Jury

The jury consists of a panel of respected art professionals with evaluating experience. 2009 jurors are Bud Deihl, Kathleen Barbero and Mario Kujawski.

Raffle

Each year, the Valley Art Center conducts a very successful raffle of artwork donated by participating artists in Art by the Falls. The proceeds are used to defray festival expenses.

For every $50 spent on art, festival customers receive a free raffle ticket. You may also purchase tickets at the booth $1 each or six for $5. Participate in our yearly survey at the VAC booth and receive a free raffle ticket. This is a great raffle because we have over 100 works of art you can win. The raffle table is at the front of the park and will give you a chance to see the breadth of work you will encounter as you head deeper into the park.
